OpenEd Ltd is a small company operating from Marsden in West Yorkshire. Our main services are dyslexia/literacy and employment support for adults, advocacy and educational consultancy. It is our aim to comply with legislation and other requirements, continue to reduce the environmental impacts of our business and operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This policy describes how we will achieve our aim.
This environmental policy applies to all of our operations including management, external visits, resources and procurement. The Managing Director is responsible for ensuring that the policy is implemented.
OpenEd Ltd carries out the following environmentally conscious practice:
- Registered address is installed with solar panels and on-site composting takes place
- Items are recycled/reused wherever possible
- Printing is via refillable cartridges and kept to an absolute minimum
- Most activities take place online to reduce travel
This policy will be reviewed on an annual basis.
